Marine LED Lights (A division of Water Makers Australia ABN 17 639 060 272) are warranted to the original purchaser under normal use and if installed, operated and maintained in accordance with applicable user manual to be free of manufacturer’s defects and to perform according to the stated specification for a period of thirty six (36) months from the date of purchase, subject to the following. Any replacement product or part will be warranted only for the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.

 

The warranty shall be void if defects are not reported during the warranty period, the LED lights are subject to accident, damage, incorrect installation, mishandling, abuse, misuse, negligence or accident by any other party, problems are caused by modification or alteration, chemical exposure or acts of nature, wear on replaceable components under normal conditions. If the light is installed on anti-foul the warranty is void. If the light is not professionally sealed with marine sealant as per instructions, the warranty is void.

 

In the event of a defective component or failure during the term of warranty, Water Makers Australia will inspect the defective part and repair or replace, with all shipping charges being the responsibility of the purchaser to and from their location to our office in Sydney, Australia. If the LED light was found to be faulty within a twelve (12) month period within Australia only, Water Makers Australia will pay for the cost of the lift required to bring the vessel out of the water for replacement of light. This is limited to costs that are pre-authorised in writing by Water Makers Australia and limited to lift only and no other costs or charges incurred.

 

As a condition of the warranty, the purchaser is responsible for carrying out recommended maintenance to ensure longevity.

 

Water Makers Australia makes no expressed or implied warranty other than that specifically set forth in this warranty statement. Water Makers Australia disclaims any warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose. Water Makers Australia’s liability under the terms of this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price of the component which are claimed to be defective. Water Makers Australia shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages whatsoever, including but not limited to injuries or damages to person or property, loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of use, cost of removing/installing components, or the claims of third parties.

 

No agent, employee, dealer, or other person has any authority to make any warranties or representations concerning Water Makers Australia or the product. Water Makers Australia is not responsible for such claims of warranty or representation.
